Misasa 54-m antenna has a DSN station id of DSS-30. Since the 54-m antenna lacks an S-band receiver,
conventional S/X geodetic VLBI cannot be used to measure the station coordinates.
Approximate position of the 54-m antenna was measured from the IGS refeference antennas at Usuda and Misasa with Total Station on September 6, 2019.
After that the 54-m antenna co-observed in the S/X geodetic VLBI sesions, in which Usuda 64-m antenna
joined, with only X-band receiver several times. Ionospheric correction was made by the Usuda's data for such sessions.
In addition, the X/Ka VLBI campaign with DSN antennas has started and some initial results have been obtained.
Since the observation period is still not very long, the consistency and repeatability among these results are not yet very high,
so we assume a formal error of about 5-10 cm for the station position errors.
Currently a fixed bias vector model between the GPS and VLBI points at Misasa (GPS -> VLBI bias vector: [24.9810, 48.2593, 82.8457] [m]) is assumed.
